Painting rocks for a Math activity.

Look at what happened over the weekend!!!!!

What better way to learn counting, co-operation and turn taking skills than to play the game BUMP!!!!!

We learned about Mass in Math so we made ladybug rocks, read the Grouchy Ladybug and then used our 2 pan scales to weigh our rocks. Which one was the heaviest? Were any of them the exact same weight? Which ones were lighter? We spent a full afternoon exploring these questions and discussing the results. Who says math is boring..... SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!

3 people with brown hair and 1 person with blonde hair is 4

2 girls and 6 boys is 8

1 person with glasses and 5 people without glasses is 6.

5 people with blue eyes and 5 people with brown eyes is 10.
